A post, after 4 months, that's a shocker

Well, it's been a while to say the least. What's happened in 4 months? Well, I no longer read the blogsphere so much (unfortunately). After college graduation, I shifted priorities to future plans, specifically the job search, though that has turned up nothing thus far. I've been working for my family at the farm, but I'm looking to start a career of my own as soon as I can.

I did interview with the NCBA in January for a position in their member services department. the interview went well, but they decided on someone else. Oh well.

I am looking for a job here in the Auburn area, especially with the university. What can I say, it's in my blood. I've applied for three positions currently, two academic advisor posts and one as a communications administrator. I've also heard of a position that's about to be hired in Athletics Marketing. Four possibilities sound pretty good, but I'm still watching for more.

Also, I'm looking at taking the GRE, maybe starting a Master's. My biggest interest is the Ag Comm master's distance learning program at UF; I could work on that while still working up here, and I think a master's would pay off in the long run.

I'll try to start posting on here more, though I doubt it'll be the heavily political or news stuff of the old days.
